Canadian-US border issues are something every shipper faces daily, see what the U.S Ambassador is doing to help...
Border issues are every shipper’s night-mare, as we all know after 9-11 border crossing’s security has tightened up ten-fold. U.S. Ambassador – David Jacobson - has made it his priority to make the Canadian – American border crossings less hectic and more productive as to the congestion volumes experienced by transport companies. The goal of the less congested border and a lower unemployment rate would produce higher demand for material product in both Canada and the United states which is beneficial to both parties that are involved in this agreement. The main goal is to increase demand in both countries, reduce congestion so products are in stores sooner, and to avoid conflict such as the 2009 “Buy-American” propaganda.
